E não teve jeito, Game of Thrones venceu o prêmio de melhor série dramática.
A série da HBO teve sua última temporada no início do ano.
Ela desbancou outras grandes séries, como Killing Eve, Ozark, This Is Us, Better Call Saul, Pose, Succession, e Segurança em Jogo.
Foram 32 indicações da série no total, levando 12 prêmios do Emmy, sendo a maioria nas categorias técnicas.
Peter Dinklage (Tyrion) levou o prêmio na categoria melhor ator coadjuvante em série dramática.
A série Fleabag venceu quatro Emmy’s, nas categorias de melhor série de comédia, melhor direção em série de comédia, melhor roteiro em série de comédia e melhor atriz em série de comédia.
Premiação A cerimônia do Emmy começou com Bryan Cranston, que fez o personagem de Walter White em Breaking Bad, fazendo uma aparição surpresa na noite, sendo muito aplaudido.
Em seu discurso, Bryan lembrou que assistiu Neil Armstrong andando há 50 anos atrás através da televisão.
Para ele, isso mostra como o aparelho abre um leque universal de possibilidades.
Disse, também, que a TV permite ir à lugares incríveis, como Winterfell, citando a cidade presente em Game of Thrones.
Para ele, “a TV nunca foi tão grande.
A TV nunca importou tanto.
A TV nunca foi tão boa quanto hoje”.
